Young People at Saint Petroc’s

Children on Sunday:  At 10:00 during the Sunday morning Communion service, in the south Aisle of the church, the children have their own activities on the theme of the day.  At some services they take an active part in the readings, semon, etc. At the distribution they receive a blessing, or take communion.  All children receive grapes. Before the blessing they share their work with the congregation and after the service join in with drinks and biscuits.

Team Vision: Team Vision is a youth group for young people aged eight and over. The activities they get up to are many and varied, ranging from outdoor pursuits, quizzes, parking in worship, camping, and social activities.

Bell Ringing: If you fancy learning how to bell ring juniors are welcome in the tower. Meet the ringers on a Tuesday evening in the tower at 7.30 pm to learn discover the mysteries of ringing.

Junior Choir: We would like to form a junior choir. Music forms an important part of our worship. Children and adults are always welcome to join our choir. If you would like to participate or help please contact us.

Music Group: We would really like to begin a music group with young people and adults. If you or one of your family are interested in helping or joining us with this exciting new venture then please contact us.

All Age Services: All Age Services are held every month and follow a seasonal theme. The services offer various styles of worship designed to suit all age groups. They are shorter and less formal than the Parish Communion service.

If you wish to learn more about this or any other topic concerning young people then please contact the Team Rector.
