At the centre of all the ministry and mission in our parish is our worship of God. It is Sunday by Sunday and during the week that we receive the strength and inspiration for all that we do in our community and beyond
Saint Petroc’s is a living place, a community that is glad to share its beauty, its life and its meaning with all who come. It is more than a magnificent building, it is a place where people have worshipped God for many centuries

The Parish Church serves the population of some 15,000 people and we welcome all as we endeavour to put into practice our Mission Statement:

which is expressed as for God – loving worship; for one another-loving respect; for all-loving service. The intention to reorder the interior of St Petroc’s Church building is in order to better provide for our current use of the building, and to ensure that the building can satisfy our future aspirations.  We wish to see an increasing use of the building for diverse and community events.

We invite you to come and visit us or better still to come and worship with our church family.
All are invited and all are welcome.
The tradition of St.Petrocs is modern Catholic’. At the Parish Eucharist the clergy and ministers wear vestments, incense and bells are used and there is a team of servers. The music varies from traditional to modern

The blessed sacrament is reserved in Saint Petroc’s and communion can be given to the sick at any time upon request.
